About Me

My name is Siobhan.

I’m 19 this December.

I live in the middle of the Great American No Where that is the midwest.

I’m a Sagittarius.

I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe.

I’m not religious.

I like poetry.  Reading it, I mean.  Mostly beat stuff, because of my short attention span.

My favorite poet is Schjeldahl.

My favorite author is a three way tie between Salinger, Kerouac and Stephanie Meyers (coughcoughtotallykiddingaboutthatlastonecoughcough).

I am so good at imitating accents. Really. My Russian accent is spot on.  It’s uncanny.

I’m always terrified of calling someone the wrong name.  Even when I know them pretty well, I have a moment of horror where I’m like “Oh my god. Did I just call them Steve? DID I JUST CALL THEM STEVE?!”

Other than that I have a pretty good memory.

My favorite movies are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Romeo + Juliet and Donnie Darko.

The radio in my room is playing constantly, even when I’m sleeping.

My friends always come to me for relationship even though I AM NEVER IN A RELATIONSHIP AND OBVIOUSLY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH THE OPPOSITE SEX.

My favorite band is the Avett Brothers.

When I was little, I was afraid of School House Rock because there was this one song they had about this girl who rocketed around space and it freaked me out so much that I couldn’t watch any of it.

I hate cats, which makes it all the more unfortunate that I have two of them.

I nearly died in a wave pool at Valley Fair, which for the record, would have been the most pathetic way to die.

I clap during the Friends theme song.  Every time.

I have a map hanging in my room so that my mom won’t find the humongous hole I accidentally put through it.

A note to all you ingrates

I don’t know if you realize this, but I’m a pretty great human being.  Seriously.   Like, comparable to Mama Theresa or Sir Elton John.  I mean, the world would be sufficiently dimmer if I wasn’t here.  So, I guess what I’m trying to say is: you’re welcome.
